get a bad rap.

But I see them as very serious, very delightful pathways that actually allow the main thing to, well, do its thing in a whole new way. It’s taken me a long time to figure that out. What goes where. And why. And how. And when.

My side quests center my very specific preferences, desire, ease, imagination, play, and joy. They are where I remind myself to be free to explore things the way I want to explore them vs. what others may want or expect. They are essential pieces of magic in my everyday existence that parallel (and propel!) my big life’s work.

I love that for me.
