Ever since I was little Kaira, I’ve had a gift for seeing the world differently — and a deep pull to use that gift to help a lot of people at one time. It’s taken the adult Kaira twenty five years of hard, hard labor to learn I can only help people as far as I’ve helped myself. When I am relaxed, rested, and resourced? New worlds happen — for everyone.

And so, from June 2024 to June 2025, I partnered with three generous underwriters for my very first global Relaxed, Rested, & Resourced Residency at genKati House in Johannesburg, South Africa. This financial stewardship afforded me the critical time and space to research & grow my capacity to embody the big life, good works, and great care we all deserve.

Most importantly? This residency signaled the end of my five-year cocoon and the beginning of a new blueprint. Moving forward, I am committed to doing a mini-version of this research residency each year (three weeks up to three months) — and would like to bring a fellow founder-creator to study with me. Currently, I’m eyeing a return to Johannesburg & Capetown, South Africa for Fall 2026.
